Born and raised in Mthatha, Eastern Cape, Mr. Zincedile Monde Tiya overcame challenging socio-economic circumstances through education, sport, and leadership. He is a distinguished Walter Sisulu alumnus whose career reflects a remarkable commitment to legal excellence, leadership, and community development.
He currently serves as a Councillor of the Southern African Development Community Lawyers' Association representing South African lawyers, and as the Secretary General of the National Association of Democratic Lawyers. He also serves on the Legal Practice Council, representing the Minister of Justice and Constitutional Development.
His expertise has been recognized internationally through participation in key legal forums, including the International Legal Forum in St Petersburg, Russia, and the SADC Lawyers' Association Conference in Maputo, Mozambique.
