Gcobani Sanda, originally from Mqanduli in the Eastern Cape, is a remarkable example of perseverance and the transformative power of education. Coming from a family of eight siblings and being the third youngest, he proudly holds the distinction of being the first graduate in his family.
His academic journey began with a Diploma in Human Resource Management. He subsequently pursued an Advanced Diploma in Public Management and further enrolled for a Bachelor of Honours in Administration. He has already enrolled for a Master of Public Administration degree.
According to Sanda, one of his greatest motivations is the desire to transform the circumstances of his family and create a new legacy for future generations. His long-term aspiration is to become the first person in his family to obtain a doctoral qualification.
Reflecting on his journey, Sanda expresses deep gratitude for how far he has come and extends his appreciation to his alma mater for empowering him through education and helping to improve his circumstances.
