Mr. Xola Nqola is a Member of Parliament and iYunivesithi Walter Sisulu graduate who has emerged as one of the prominent leaders in South Africa's justice and constitutional governance landscape. He holds an LLB degree from iYunivesithi Walter Sisulu and has served in the National Assembly since 2019.
In July 2024, he was elected Chairperson of Parliament's Portfolio Committee on Justice and Constitutional Development, where he oversees parliamentary scrutiny of the country's justice sector, constitutional matters, and legal reform processes.
Key achievements include: Chairperson of the Portfolio Committee on Justice and Constitutional Development (2024–Present); Co-Chairperson of the Joint Constitutional Review Committee (2023–2024); Member of Parliament since 2019; leadership in the ANC Youth League; and advocacy for justice system reform including improving court infrastructure and reducing case backlogs.
